Realising the severe shortcomings in the South African collective bargaining model, NEASA is intensely involved in collective bargaining processes and currently have seats on the following bargaining councils:
Metal and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council (MEIBC),
Motor Industry Bargaining Council (MIBCO), and the
National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI).
This guarantees NEASA the widest footprint within the collective bargaining landscape in South Africa. Within this environment NEASA passionately campaigns for a new dispensation which is more SMME friendly and which will consequently attract the desperately needed economic growth in South Africa. NEASA’S Representation on bargaining councils ensures that its members are represented in all meetings and negotiations.
