PAYMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND DISPUTE LEVIES
CLEARING UP THE CONFUSION
Dear Industry Employer
The persistent bombardment of the Industry with misleading circulars by the MEIBC has caused major confusion among employers as to their obligation to continue paying Administration and Dispute Levies.
NEASA has continuously informed the Industry that non-parties* should no longer deduct and pay these levies.
The MEIBC has now finally, due to pressure, amended their circular accordingly.

NEASA therefore confirms that only employers who are members of a SEIFSA affiliated organisation are obligated to continue with the payment of these levies.
Employers who have made contributions towards Admin and Dispute Levies since 1 July 2016, should claim these contributions back on behalf of themselves and their employees.
