NBCRFLI TERS-FUNDING BENEFITS

UPDATE

Dear Road Freight employer

As previously communicated, the NBCRFLI issued a circular informing the Industry that employers who wish to submit their TERS applications through the Bargaining Council may do so for the period 17 April 2020 to 30 April 2020, provided that they have not paid any benefits other than annual leave to their employees.

The Council has issued a further circular informing Industry employers who have applied for the TERS benefits through the Bargaining Council for the period 27 March 2020 to 16 April 2020, that they may submit their applications to the Council for the extended period by 11 May 2020.

Employers who have submitted their applications for the first period directly to the UIF must do so again for the second period.
