PERMIT TO TRAVEL AFTER CURFEW

Dear employer

The President, last night, announced an extension of the curfew during which the movement of people is prohibited unless such person is travelling for a medical- or security emergency, or for work activities not prohibited in terms of table 2 of the regulations.

Employees who are required to travel for work between 21:00 and 6:00 are obliged to have a permit that complies with Form 7.

Employers are advised to issue all employees who work nightshift or are otherwise required to travel for work during the curfew hours, with this permit to avoid falling foul of the regulations.
