PAYMENT SUSPENDED
Dear employer
The President, last night, announced a number of measures aimed at assisting employers and the economy.
One of these measures is a four month payment holiday in respect of Skills Development Levies.
All employers with an annual payroll of more than R500 000 are normally liable to pay a SDL of 1% of payroll.
All designated employers are therefore exempted from these payments for the next four months, without penalties or any obligation to pay the contribution at a later stage.
