FINAL REGULATIONS EXPECTED IMMINENTLY

There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the criteria and application process of the COVID-19 TERS funding initiative.

Despite a lot of unofficial information doing the rounds, the Department of Employment and Labour has not yet gazetted the final regulations in order to clear up the confusion.

All indications are that the final regulations will be published in the course of the day.

Employers are advised to, in the meantime, collate their information in anticipation of the final regulations, but to delay submission until the situation has been clarified.

This is necessary in order to avoid having to resubmit or correct information already submitted.

We will keep members abreast of developments as information becomes available.
