CLAIMS REJECTED DUE TO EXISTING UIF CLAIMS
The TERS system has rejected some claims with an error message stating that the employee has an existing UIF claim (such as maternity benefits). This error occurred as a result of the normal UIF system not being delinked from the TERS system. This has now been rectified.
If these employees are back at work, the employer should send proof of payment of salary, as well as a letter confirming that the employee has returned to work and indicating on which date the UIF benefit was terminated, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
