APPLYING FOR EXEMPTIONS A MUST
Dear Industry Employer
Since the legal challenge which NEASA has instituted against the Minister of Labour and the MEIBC will not be finalised in the near future, employers are encouraged to apply for exemptions from the 2014/17 Main Agreement.
Exemption applications in respect of the wage increases must reach the MEIBC no later than 31 July 2015.
Should you need any assistance in this regard, kindly contact your nearest NEASA office.
In the event of:-
your exemption being turned down, for whatever reason, or
a compliance notice being served on you,
you are advised to contact NEASA immediately.
