DEADLINE FOR WAGE EXEMPTIONS APPROACHING
Dear Steel Industry employer
The Consolidated Main Agreement of the MEIBC (‘the agreement’) determines that applications for exemptions from wage increases for the period 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024 must be submitted by no later than 31 July 2023.
All employers falling within the scope of the MEIBC and the agreement are encouraged to apply for exemption before this deadline.
