MEIBC MISCOMMUNICATING FACTS
MEIBC rates only applicable to SEIFSA employers
Dear NEASA member
The MEIBC has posted on their website a circular which allegedly contains the new wage rates applicable to all employers in the industry.
This a complete misrepresentation of the facts. The wage rates are at this stage only applicable to employers affiliated to SEIFSA and not to any other employer in the industry.
Employers not affiliated to SEIFSA are under no obligation to implement these rates.
NEASA will inform you of any developments to the situation.
