The International Monetary Fund has joined several countries criticizing America for its plans to levy import tariffs on steel and aluminium. America’s largest trading partners Canada, the European Union and Japan expressed their dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump’s proposal. The IMF says in addition to the fact that it does not benefit other countries, it will also hurt America.
