The National Employers Association of South Africa has embarked on a nationwide roadshow to get a mandate from its members regarding the stalled negotiations in the metal industry. The local manufacturing sector is bracing for a possible crippling strike from July. After months of talks between unions and employers in the metal and engineering industry, it ended in deadlock earlier this month.
