TERS PAYMENT SURVEY

Dear employer

NEASA has, since the introduction of the TERS payments scheme, continuously conducted a survey among employers to determine the percentage of claims paid by TERS.

However, over time, the number of unpaid claims for the periods of April and May have declined steadily and seems to have settled at a percentage of approximately 10% and 12% respectively.

It seems that the claims that remain unpaid, for these periods, relate to errors made when the claim was uploaded or other technical error messages.

Therefore, NEASA will no longer be conducting or reporting on the results for the April and May periods. The issues surrounding the remaining unpaid claims for April and May will be addressed directly with the Department of Employment and Labour.

NEASA will continue to conduct surveys for June onwards as there remains a large percentage of claims unpaid for these periods.
