DO NOT PAY ADMINISTRATION- AND DISPUTE LEVIES
Dear Industry Employer
NEASA, on 30 March 2017, issued a newsletter in response to a misleading circular by the MEIBC.
It has been brought to our attention that due to the technical nature of this issue, some employers are still uncertain as to what the position is regarding payment of Administration- and Dispute levies to the Council. We therefore wish to reiterate and clarify the situation:
The Registration and Administration Expenses Agreement expired on 30 June 2016 and has not been re-extended to date.
All non-parties MUST have stopped deduction and payment of these levies from that date.
Since SEIFSA signed this Agreement, only employers affiliated to SEIFSA are obligated or allowed to pay.
Therefore, if you are not a SEIFSA affiliated employer and are still paying Admin- and Dispute levies to the Council, STOP PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY, and claim back all payments made since 1 July 2016.
