MIBCO: Second Round Of Negotiations
MOTOR INDUSTRY
2016 WAGE NEGOTIATIONS
Dear Industry Employer
The second round of negotiations took place on 14 and 15 June 2016 with no progress to report.
At this stage, employers insist on a three year agreement and that the scope of MIBCO remains unchanged while the trade unions insist that the agreement be for a year only and that a major realignment of the Motor Industry take place based on the value chain.
Negotiations will reconvene on Tuesday, 28 June 2016.
We will keep you abreast of developments.
Kind regards
Gerald Leith
Motor Industry Collective Bargaining Co-ordinator
