AMSA’s INABILITY TO SUPPLY
More business responses
- We are laying off people and either closing down or possibly moving business to another country.
We cannot operate like this.
- We run around to get sheeting for contracts awarded to us. And, yes, obviously some businesses take advantage of shortage and OVERPRICE material. The question came up with me, “aren’t they busy to assist the government to just drive the BEE/equity vehicle further, like the President put it, use this virus to level the playing field”? Large companies are busy to close and let’s keep our eyes open and see what new companies will arise.
- We have to grab what we can get if there is any tubing for furniture production or we have to go to thicker wall thickness tubing just to satisfy orders at a higher cost to us.
We are already struggling; they must take the protection duty away in order to import if we have to.
We cannot rely on one organization to hold our future in their hands.
How is AMSA’s inability to supply the market affecting your business?
