NUMSA STRIKE: VIOLENCE AND INTIMIDATION
Dear NEASA member
Over the last few weeks NEASA has been inundated with reports from employer members around the country of violence and intimidation by striking NUMSA members. Many of our members have also submitted photos and videos.
Here are few examples of violence captured in video footage, received from our members (click on the picture to view the video):
We have also picked up on video’s that features on YouTube:
We have compiled a picture library where members captured damage to their property. Click here to view the picture library.
Please continue to inform us on a daily basis whether you are affected by the strike, and if that is the case, to what extent, and include more detail indicating violence and intimidation (including photographs and/or videos). This information can be submitted via the daily strike update on our website. It is crucial that NEASA stays abreast of all the strike actions that are taking place.
NEASA members will be able to log into the strike page with your NEASA website log in details.
If you have any queries contact the NEASA hotline on 0860 163 272.
Kind regards
NEASA Media Team
