COMPENSATION FUND ASSISTANCE
NEASA, on a ‘no-success, no-fee’ basis, will provide your business with relief by ensuring that your business is registered, categorised correctly and does not overpay on its Fund contributions, or where it might have overpaid in the past, ensure recovery of such overpayments and corrections going forward.
This includes:
- review of your business’s current COID setup environment, to achieve future savings; and
- assistance in ensuring the correct classification of your business which entails the reclassification of your business to the correct subclass and applicable rate.

- act as the contact person between the relevant Sector Education Training Authority (SETA) and your business;
- ensure that your business is registered with the relevant SETA;
- assist in establishing the training needs in your business to develop a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR);

- advise on business learnerships;

Qualified technical, vocational, education and training (TVET) interns are available to our members as resources for a period of 18 months. This internship is funded by FASSET (Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority)
We offer our members the opportunity to:
- access additional entry-level labour at minimal cost to a company;
- increase the workforce for a period of 18 months without having to commit to employment thereafter;
- act as hots-employer for the student(s)/TVET candidates;
- interview interns with the view to select and appoint the best suited candidate for the organisation;
- absorb the ‘best’ intern on completion of the internship.
Technical Apprenticeships
Apprentices who have successfully completed the theory and college practical component of their qualification are ready to be placed with employers to gain the relevant practical workplace exposure and to apply theoretical and practical competencies in the following trade categories:
- electrician
- millwright,
- fitter and turner,
- toolmaker,
- welder,
- diesel/tractor mechanic, and
- auto-electrician
