STRENGTHENING CIVIL SOCIETY
Support NEASA in its promotion of:
• freedom; and
• social responsibility.
OR
For NEASA, who represents thousands of employer/business members, a strong, prospering civil society, wherein individual liberties and freedom prevail, is of utmost importance.
For this reason, NEASA, on behalf of its members, is passionately involved in issues aimed at strengthening the capacity of civil society to conduct and influence matters affecting them. The areas of our involvement/advocacy include:
- municipalities, where we empower civil society and the private sector, to actively participate in the turning around of failing local authorities;
- influencing/opposition to hostile legislation; and
- the mandatory vaccination dilemma.
#MYMUNICIPALITY
The collapse of local government in most South African towns is a painful reality. The failure of basic service delivery has a far-reaching economic consequence and if the business community does not become involved in the municipal planning and budgeting processes, then the country will fail to grow its economy.
If you assist us in this initiative, there is no reason why the decline of most of our towns cannot be reversed.
#FREEMARKET
NEASA lobbies for the rights of employers by influencing and opposing hostile legislation. We also contribute to creating an environment where society can flourish and communities can prosper. Our experience over many years has given us a significant understanding of, and insight into the complexities and dynamics of South African politics, and through actively advocating for positive policy frameworks, we strive to make South Africa a better place for all.
#FREECHOICE:
THE MANDATORY VACCINE DILEMMA
NEASA has a firm stance against mandatory vaccination. We are fundamentally opposed to a regime where people are forced to do something that goes against their religious, moral, or ethical convictions. We are deeply concerned about the eventual impact of a dispensation that denies people the freedom of choice and violates their constitutional rights. It is NEASA’s view that this issue poses a fundamental test to society.
